The Missionary Church of Africa Sierra Leone (MCA-SL) was founded in 1907 by the Missionary Church Association of Indiana, United States of America. Our pioneers, David C. Rup and Driscol, first settled along the Rokel River among the Temne in Tonkolili, establishing a legacy of evangelism, education, church planting, Bible translation, theological education, and community development. Today, we serve 61 churches with 5,764 members across Western Area, Tonkolili, Koinadugu, and Falaba Districts.

Rev. Alhassan Paul Kargbo

President

Rev. Alhassan Paul Kargbo currently serves as the President of the Missionary Church of Africa Sierra Leone (MCA-SL), following his election at their National Delegate Conference in March 2025. He holds a Master of Ministry Degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree, and has served the church in various capacities including General Secretary for over ten years.
